Explanation:

The Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department is requesting to purchase a new Pierce Impel Pumper. This purchase will be made utilizing our Fire Assessment Fund in order to replace units from our aging fleet.

 

We will be purchasing a Pierce Impel Pumper from Ten-8 Fire Equipment, Inc. The total price for this unit is $591,372.00. This unit will be replacing E-105 which has come to the end of its service life as a front line unit.  

 

Ten-8 Fire Equipment, Inc. is offering the City a pre-paid discount of $18,485.00 if the City submits payment within 15 days.
