Explanation:
The Department of Public Utilities ("Department") owns, operates and maintains stormwater facilities, including 10 stormwater pump stations, 75 major outfalls, 45 weir control structures, 69,000 linear feet trench drains and 128 miles of pipes and culverts. Improvements of drainage systems are needed in various areas throughout the City to address routine flooding conditions after regular rain events.

As part of this ongoing drainage repair and rehabilitation program, Department staff recommends installation of drainage systems on several streets throughout the City as shown on the attached project location maps numbered 1-3. The Department also recommends the implementation of the Swale Restoration Program throughout the City, see the project location maps numbered 4-8.

On May 11, 2021, Notice of Bid Availability for Bid-21-11047 was posted on the City's website, advertised and sent to 3,217 firms and viewed by 82 vendors on Bidsync.com in accordance with Section 38.43 of the City's Procurement Code. On June 10, 2021, BID-21-11047 was opened at 2:00 p.m. and resulted in Bids from the following firms:
