Explanation:
It is in the best interest of the Community Redevelopment Agency to enter into an agreement with one consultant to provide architectural and engineering services that are required to implement the Hollywood Boulevard Streetscape project in an expeditious fashion. The term of the contract will be for the Hollywood Boulevard Streetscape project only and services to be accomplished under this contract will include, but not be limited to the following:
* Develop schedules, drawings and cost estimates
* Perform field test, laboratory test and collect data
* Attend public meetings and coordinate public input into the final design
* Prepare and submit signed and sealed construction drawings to the Hollywood Building Department and other applicable agencies
* Other related architectural and engineering services
The CRA has followed the procedures established in the Florida Statutes, Section 287.055, Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act, to procure services from a Professional Services from architectural and engineering services consulting firm. Statements of Qualifications were received from four firms as follows:
* ODP Architecture & Design and Kimley Horn Associates, Inc.
* The BetaJones Group, Inc.
* Craven, Thompson & Associates, Inc.
* Bermello Ajamil & Partners Inc.
