Explanation:
The City of Hollywood has the responsibility for planning, regulating, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining a regional wastewater treatment plant, a wastewater collection system, ocean outfall discharge system and reuse water supply system within the City's corporate limits. An updated Wastewater Master Plan is required to most effectively fulfill the City's responsibilities, comply with regulatory program at various levels (federal, state, county and local), provide a high level of service to residents and customers, fulfill contractual obligations to large users, accommodate growth and economic development, and protect public health, safety and the environment.
The existing Wastewater Master Plan, adopted in April 2009, has achieved its intended purpose and needs to be updated. The scope of services for the new Wastewater Master Plan includes the following tasks:
* Conduct Condition Assessment of All Wastewater Facilities
* Wastewater Flow and Load Forecast
* Update and Calibrate Wastewater Collection System Model
* Perform Collection and Transmission System Hydraulic Analysis
* Evaluation of Wastewater Collection and Transmission System
* Wastewater Treatment Plant Process Facilities Evaluation
* Evaluation of Potential Needs
* Regulatory Considerations
* Develop Recommendation for Capital Improvements Program
* Develop Wastewater Master Plan
* City Commission Workshop Assistance
