Explanation:
Memorial Health Care System is requesting the City's partnership to apply for a $2.5 million dollar grant for a lift station, force main and associated infrastructure at Memorial Regional Hospital (3501 Johnson Street). The total estimated construction cost is approximately $4.3 million, and if awarded the grant will offset this cost. Memorial will be funding and managing all aspects of this private utilities project.

The grant is awarded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development, who is funding a Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) administered by the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). This grant is called Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program (Grant). Grant Guidelines are attached.

Over the last few months there have been a series of similar grant opportunities, this is the last of this series. For the last cycle Broward County partnered with both Hospital Districts to apply for grants on their behalf and will not be offering partnerships for this cycle. As such, Memorial is requesting the City's partnership to apply for the aforementioned project.
