Explanation:

The Department of Development Services, Community Development Division, required a pool of qualified contractors to provide housing rehabilitation/repair services in conjunction with the City’s Housing Rehabilitation Program, which is funded using Home Investment Partnership, State of Florida Housing Initiatives Partnership Program, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant funds.

 

The City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2016-322, authorizing and establishing a pool of qualified contractors including the 11 highest ranked proposers in accordance with RFQ-4524-16-RL, for a two year initial term with the option to renew for two additional one year periods.

 

On October 2, 2018 the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2018-326, authorizing the first renewal of the established pool. Subsequently, The City Manager authorized the extension of the pool of qualified contractors for 90 days.

 

This resolution authorizes the second renewal of the pool.
