Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, as represented by the Chief Civic Affairs Officer for the Office of the City Manager, is seeking qualified firms to perform responsibilities of Lobbyists at the state and local levels.

The Lobbyists will serve in a consulting and advisory capacity to the City of Hollywood for all issues at the state and local levels and must possess a strong working knowledge of legislative, administrative, and regulatory processes.

On March 28, 2018, Notices of Bid Availability for RFP-4581-18-JE was posted on the City's website, advertised and sent to 1226 firms and viewed by 41 vendors on Bidsync.com in accordance with Section 38.42 (A)(1) of the City's Purchasing Ordinance.

RFP-4581-18-JE was opened at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018, and resulted in the following three responses:

* Ballard Partners, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
* Becker & Poliakoff d/b/a "Becker", Fort Lauderdale, Florida
* GrayRobinson, Tallahassee, Florida

Evaluations of the proposals were based on the following criteria as established in the RFP: Project Organization and Technical Qualifications of the Persons Assigned to the Project; Project Understanding, Proposed Approach and Methodology; Qualifications of the Firm; Relationships, Resource and Capabilities; Cost to the City and Local Preference.

The proposals were evaluated by three committee members consisting of the Director of Public Utilities, Director of Public Works and the Community Development Manager.
