On May 2, 2018, the City Commission approved R-2018-137, authorizing the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) grant application in the approximate amount of $13,750.00, along with $13,750.00 in matching funds which were to come from another grant considered contemporaneously. The Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) initiated this grant program to assist with the removal and proper disposal of derelict vessels from waterways.
The Police Department, upon City Commission approval, submitted a proposal to the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) Derelict Vessel Removal Program Grant. Additional funding has become available and the Police Department wishes to amend the amount in the grant application. Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) Derelict Vessel Removal Program Grant funds will be approximately $6,875.00, along with $20,625.00 in matching funds which will come from another grant considered contemporaneously.
