Reverse Bid Number F-4264-11-RD was created with the assistance of E-Bridge Online Reverse Bid Services (E-Bridge).
Reverse Bid F-4264-11-RD allowed for award to multiple bidders, with the primary vendor receiving the initial request for work and the secondary vendor receiving other requests for work as necessary, in cases of emergency, or if it is in the best interest of the City of Hollywood to do so regardless of reason.
On February 1, 2012, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution Number R-2012-033, authorizing the issuance of a blanket purchase order to Tactical Protection Corporation of Miami, Florida as the primary vendor, and the issuance of a blanket purchase order to Regions Security Services, Inc. as the secondary vendor, to provide uniformed, armed and unarmed security guard services - Citywide, in accordance with Bid F-4264-11-RD, for a two (2) year period with the right to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
Tactical Protection Corporation was notified on August 30, 2012, and again on September 7, 2012, of the City's concerns regarding unsatisfactory services being provided.
