Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts desires to purchase an Offshore Fireworks Display for the City’s annual July 4th Celebration to be held on Hollywood Beach.
On January 25, 2024, Request for Proposals No. RFP-165-24-GJ (“RFP”) was electronically advertised on OpenGov.com to solicit the desired Offshore Fireworks Display Services, in accordance with Section 38.43(A) of the Procurement Code. The RFP resulted in proposals from two firms by the response due date.
The Selection Committee recommends that the City Commission authorize the negotiation and execution of a Blanket Purchase Agreement with the highest ranked firm, Pyrotecnico, Inc., for a three-year term, for an annual amount up to $140,000.00 for the first two years; and an annual amount up to $147,000.00 for the third year, to provide Offshore Fireworks Display Services with an option to renew for one additional three-year period.

Funding for the Blanket Purchase Agreement is available in the FY 2024 Operating Budget in account number 001.300601.57200.549110.000000.000.000.
