Explanation:
The City of Hollywood will be celebrating Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) from May 5 through May 11, 2024. This week is set aside each year to honor the men and women who serve America as federal, state and local government employees. Throughout the nation and around the world, public servants use the week to educate citizens about the many ways in which government serves the people and how government services make life better for all of us. Our participation in this event will enable the City and members of the community to show appreciation for its employees and volunteers.
The proclamation will be accepted by Tami Thornton, Assistant Director of Human Resources.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Proclamation will not fiscally impact the City.
