Explanation:
The Police Department seeks to purchase Glock 47 firearm packages. Firearms are an essential piece of equipment issued to each sworn officer and are necessary for the operations of the Department. Glock participates in the Blue Label Program which offers a law enforcement discount. The firearms are being purchased through the best-interest procurement method.

Funding for this Blanket Purchase Agreement is available in the FY 2024 Operating Budget in account number 112.209803.52100.540030.001521.000.000.
