Explanation:
The Department of Public Utilities ("Department") is responsible for the planning, design, construction management, and inspection of utility engineering projects.

Large diameter meters play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling various wastewater treatment processes, as well as the reuse water supply and sewer collection systems.

The Department suggests replacing some large size flow meters when these meters reach the end of their useful life cycles.

The Department also needs to install drinking water sampling stations citywide in compliance with various water quality monitoring regulations.

The Department desires to obtain professional engineering consulting services related to the design, permit, bid, and construction management of the replacement of these large size flow meters and the installation of drinking water sampling stations.

On September 6, 2023, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2023-277, which authorized the execution of Continuing Services Agreements with eight firms for water, sewer, reuse, and stormwater infrastructure projects, one of the firms being Chen Moore and Associates, Inc. ("CMA").
