Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts (“PRCA”) followed the formal solicitation procedures to purchase new tables and chairs to replace existing worn-out furniture in various community centers.
PRCA evaluated the 11 bids and determined the responses to be over the budget for the purchase of the furniture.
The Director of PRCA and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission cancel the Solicitation for Tables and Chairs IFB-102-23-GJ (“Solicitation”) based on Section 38.43(D) of the Procurement Code.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of the attached resolution will not fiscally impact the City as this is a proposal to cancel the Solicitation.
