Explanation:
The ArtsPark in downtown Hollywood acts as a venue providing space for general program activities including the ArtsPark Concert Series, cultural exhibits, educational programs and events.
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts desires to apply for the upcoming State of Florida, Department of State Division of Art and Culture 2024-2025 General Program Support Grant Program in the amount of $100,000.00 to fund and expand ArtsPark general programming.
Fiscal Impact:
If awarded, grant funding in the amount of $100,000.00 will be appropriated in FY 2024 Operating Budget for the ArtsPark Concert Series as detailed in Exhibit 1.
Funding for the City’s proposed grant match in the amount of $100,000.00 will be comprised of the full-time staff salaries of the Cultural Arts/ArtsPark Division who support these programs.
