Explanation:

The City of Hollywood will be having a General Election to be held on November 5, 2024.  The terms of the Mayor and City Commissioners from Districts 2, 4 and 6 expire in November 2024.

 

The Mayor and the City Commissioners from Districts 2, 4 and 6 shall be elected for a four-year term.

 

In order to conduct the election, it is necessary to enter into the attached agreement with the Broward County Supervisor of Elections.

 

The City Clerk shall be authorized and directed to place upon the ballot to be used at such general election to be held on November 5, 2024, the names of all candidates properly qualifying.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this election is available in the FY2024 Operating Budget in account number 001.111001.51200.549930.000000.000.000.
