Explanation:
The intent of the Resolution is to shift fees associated with the Parking Payment in Lieu of Program from the Zoning and Land Development Regulations to the City’s Comprehensive Fee Schedule, and increase the fee from $40,000.00/space established at First Reading to $50,000.00/space (R-2023-258).
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution provides the opportunity to fund the construction of public parking infrastructure and/or mobility improvements within the Community Redevelopment Agency areas (Downtown and the Beach).
