Explanation:
On April 19, 2023, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2023-096 authorizing City officials to negotiate Phase I preconstruction services with the highest-ranked firm, Pirtle Construction Company, to provide Construction Management at Risk services for the Art and Culture Center Expansion Project.

Pirtle Construction Company Phase I Preconstruction Services were completed and provided the Design and Construction Management Department ("DCM") with a Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal for the construction of the Art and Culture Center Expansion Project; in an amount not to exceed $7,063,886.31, which staff has determined to be fair and reasonable and in accordance with industry standards.

It is in the best interest of the City to enter into an agreement with Pirtle Construction Company, to provide Phase II construction services for the Art and Culture Center Expansion Project pursuant to the attached agreement.

The Director of DCM recommends that the City Commission approve and authorize the execution of the attached Construction Management at Risk Phase II Construction Services Agreement for the Art and Culture Center Expansion Project in an amount of $7,063,886.31.

Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2024 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account numbers 333.309901.57200.563010....
