Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The Police Department applied to the Broward County Marine Advisory Committee to receive grant funds in the amount of $65,832.00, to promote and enhance the safe and pleasurable use of the navigable waterways within the City; and to protect and preserve the natural and man-made marine resources available throughout the City.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

The Grant funding will be appropriated in the FY 2024 Operating Budget of the Police Grant Fund (Fund 113).
