Explanation:
The Police Department is requesting authorization to expend Federal (Justice) Law Enforcement Forfeiture Funds in the amount of $100,000.00 for costs associated with training of Law Enforcement officers.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding will be made available in Fiscal Year 2024 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1, subject to the approval of this resolution. The Law Enforcement Forfeiture Fund received sufficient funding in prior years to allocate the requested $100,000.00.
