Explanation:
January is recognized nationally as Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, an observance that promotes education about cervical cancer causes, screenings and treatments.
The proclamation will be accepted by Visleyn Lopez, a cervical cancer survivor, and Chapter Leader in South Florida for the National Cervical Cancer Coalition.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Proclamation will not fiscally impact the City.
