Explanation:
The Department of Public Works recommends the purchase of a 2023 New Holland T6.155 EC 4 CYL STG5 Agricultural Tractor to clean and maintain the beach and keep a healthy environment. It is vital to the City's beautification plan for the area.
The current equipment and machinery used to maintain the beach is old and has exceeded its life expectancy. It is in desperate need of replacement. The 2023 New Holland T6.155 EC 4 CYL STG5 Agricultural Tractor will keep the beach clean, rake the beach and clear it of any debris. It will also be utilized for the setup/breakdown of events.
The Director of Public Works and the Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission authorize the appropriate City officials to execute an agreement with CNH Industrial America LLC for the purchase of a new 2023 New Holland T6.155 EC 4 CYL STG5 Agricultural Tractor for an amount of $118,132.60.
Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for this purchase ($78,132.60) was included in the amended FY 2023 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 557.519901.51900.564520.000120.000.000. The remainder of the funding ($40,000) will be available in the FY 2023 Beach CRA budget in account number 163.638507.55200.564300.000000.000.000.
