Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

Consideration by the City Commission of continuing the City's advisory boards and committees for one year.  According to Code Section 37.25(A), the City Commission must consider the following advisory boards and committees in order to determine if they should be continued or sunsetted:

 

Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; African American Advisory Council; Artwork Selection Advisory Committee; Education Advisory Committee; General Obligation Bond Oversight Advisory Committee; Marine Advisory Board; Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Advisory Board; Sustainability Advisory Committee; and The Young Circle Artspark Advisory Board.

 

A majority vote of the Commission will continue each of the above referenced advisory boards/committees.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

This resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
