Explanation:

The Police Department desires to lease 14 vehicles.  These are replacement vehicles for the existing lease.  Due to supply chain issues in the car industry, the new vehicles will be swapped as they become available.

 

Fiscal Impact:  The funding for year 1 costs is available in the FY 2023 Operating Budget in account number 001.204105.52100.54005.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.  Year 1 costs are anticipated not to exceed $165,000.00 which includes lease payments of $133,167.12 and estimated DMV, license fees, delivery fees, and service charges of $31,832.88.
