Explanation:

The Police Department applied for the 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant program to purchase Police technology equipment.

 

The JAG program is administered through Broward Sheriff’s Office as the local facilitating law enforcement agency. 

 

Fiscal Impact: If awarded, grant funding in the estimated amount of $37,948.00 will be appropriated in the Operating Budget of the Police Grants Fund (Fund 113) as detailed in Exhibit 1.
