Explanation:

The City and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 2432, Professional Bargaining Unit, have negotiated a successor Collective Bargaining Agreement in effect from October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021, (the “Agreement”).   

 

The highlights of the changes include: Incorporating the changes that were ratified in a Memorandum of Understanding on October 7, 2020, which provided a 2% wage adjustment effective in the first full pay period on or after September 30, 2020, and increased the pay ranges by 2%; this Agreement also includes language clean-up with no substantive changes. 

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

The estimated cost of salary increases is approximately $125,000. Funding for the increases was included in the FY 2021 Operating Budget.
