Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts (“PRCA”) recommends the purchase and installation of playground equipment, safety surfacing and a shade system for a new playground area at the northern end of 441 Linear Park located within the City.  This playground is the first City playground for the Hollywood West Gardens neighborhood. The playground selection was based on public input.

 

The purchase and installation were competitively bid through the Clay County - RFP NO 18/19-2, for a term effective September 1, 2020 through February 28, 2024, pursuant to Bid Number No. 21-0053-MR, for the use and reliance of governmental agencies within the State of Florida.

 

Fiscal Impact:  Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2021 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 334.309902.57200.563010.000144.000.000
