Explanation:
Chapter 99 of the Code of Ordinances establishes Municipal Beach regulations.
The City wishes to revise Section 99.05(B) pertaining to the Dog Beach hours of operation to better accommodate users of the beach year-round. Proposed is the addition of Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at no charge.
Section 99.05(B)(4) will change and no longer require all users of the Dog Beach to execute a form releasing the City from liability, holding the City harmless and agreeing to abide by the applicable rules.
Fiscal Impact: Approval of this Ordinance will not fiscally impact the City.
