Explanation:

The Police Department submitted an application to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (“FWC”) Commission Derelict Vessel Removal Program Grant. The FWC initiated this grant program to assist with the removal and proper disposal of derelict vessels from waterways. If awarded, grant funds in the amount of $113,206.00, will be used for the removal and disposal of derelict vessels located in the waterways of the City.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

If approved, grant funding in the amount of $113,206.00 will be appropriated in the FY2021 Operating Budget for the Police Grant Fund (Fund 113) as detailed in Exhibit 1.
