Explanation:
On March 4, 2020, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No R-2020-055 authorizing Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. ("KH") to provide professional consulting engineering services for the development of a Bicycle Mobility Plan.
At the March 3, 2021 City Commission meeting, KH made a presentation to the City Commission regarding an update on the proposed Plan that identified and prioritized specific bicycle mobility projects, advanced Complete Street principles, identified various funding opportunities, and took into consideration stakeholder input.
In order to implement the Plan and apply for various funding opportunities, the Director of Development Services recommends that the City Commission approve and adopt a Bicycle Mobility Plan.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
