Explanation:

On February 3, 2021 the City Commission approved Resolution No. R-2021-018 authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute a Quitclaim Deed from the Grantor for conveyance of land located in the City.

Upon review for execution of the Quitclaim Deed, the Grantor found that they had inadvertently omitted one condition, stating the following: “Nothing other than stormwater is permitted to be discharged into the areas.”; and this is an acceptable condition.

This Quitclaim Deed pertains to four lots located between Buchanan and Johnson Streets along State Road 7.  Lot 7 is the future location of playground apparatus.

Fiscal Impact:

The City will have maintenance responsibility for all landscape improvements and playground apparatus that may be constructed at this location.  Those maintenance costs are unknown at this time.
