Explanation:

On July 3, 2018, the City of Hollywood entered into an Agreement for State and local lobbying services with GrayRobinson, P.A. The City and GrayRobinson, P.A. are still within the initial 3-year term of the Agreement. On April 23, 2021, Governor Desantis and the Seminole Tribe of Florida executed a historic new thirty-year gaming Compact that restores the State’s relationship with the Tribe, preserves and offers new opportunities for Florida’s legacy pari-mutuel industry, and provides substantial new revenues for the State of Florida. In order to ratify and implement the provisions of the new Compact, the State Legislature must convene in a Special Legislative Session. The Special Legislative Session was called for the week of May 17, 2021. The City engaged GrayRobinson for additional lobbying services through the guidance of their expert in this arena, George Leveque.
