Explanation:
Like many communities in South Florida, the City of Hollywood is comprised of residents and visitors with a rich and diverse background of familial, cultural, and religious beliefs. The City recognizes and celebrates the importance that such diversity brings to establishing Hollywood as a unique and essential member of the South Florida community, and in maintaining its place as a community leader both here and abroad. The City desires to reaffirm its commitment to recognize and embrace its diverse cultural and ideological background, and recognizes the importance its history of diversity continues to have on its goal to be the best place to live, work and play in the South Florida community.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
