Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts (“PRCA”) recommends the purchase of golf course maintenance equipment for the Orangebrook Golf and Country Club (“OGCC”), located within the City. The proposed purchase is for essential pieces of equipment that will provide required maintenance at OGCC until the course is closed for renovation.
The Director of PRCA and the Assistant Director Finance for Procurement Services recommend that the City Commission approve the issuance of a Purchase Order for the purchase of maintenance equipment from Everglades Equipment Group in the amount of $230,649.10.
The recommended purchase was competitively bid through the Sourcewell Landscaping and Grounds Related Equipment, Accessories & Supplies Contract# 062117-DAC, for a term effective August 18, 2017 through August 18, 2021, pursuant to Bid Number No. 21-0053-MR, for the use and reliance of governmental agencies within the State of Florida.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2021 Capital Improvement Plan, and is available in account numbers 334.309901.57200.564531.001363.000.000 and 334.309901.57200.564531.001356.000.000.
