Explanation:
The Department of Public Works, Fleet Management Division, on behalf of the Department of Public Works Beach Maintenance Division, requires the purchase of one new tractor to replace an older tractor that has reached or surpassed its life expectancy and road worthiness by age, mileage and wear, and can no longer be relied upon to perform at required operational levels.
The Department of Public Works is requesting the purchase of one new 2021 Holland TS6.120HC Agricultural Tractor (#010 AG), for the Beach Maintenance Division at a cost of $103,057.38. The requested vehicle was competitively bid through the Sourcewell Contract (formally NJPA) pursuant to Bid Number #110719, for a term effective December 30, 2020 through December 30, 2023 for the use and reliance of government entities within the State of Florida. Award was made to Growers Equipment Co., as the lowest and best responsive bidder by specification, manufacturer, by zone, and has agreed to provide to the City, under the exact pricing, terms and conditions, one new 2021 Holland TS6.120HC Agricultural Tractor.
