Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Advisory Board (“Board”) was established by the City Commission to promote parks, recreation, cultural arts, special events and golf operations within the City.
The Interim Director of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, staff liaison to the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Advisory Board recommends the removal of Sean Atkinson based upon blatant disregard towards city staff authority and trespassing on city property.
The City of Hollywood Code of Ordinances, Chapter 37.25(B) states, the City Commission by a majority vote, may remove any board member for any reason or no reason.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
