Explanation:
In 2017, the City of Hollywood passed Resolution No. R-2017-334 endorsing the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) delivery of bicycle lane improvements identified in the FDOT Five-Year Adopted Work Program which falls within the City of Hollywood's jurisdictional right-of-way, specifically bike lanes on 72nd Avenue, from Pembroke Road to Johnson Street, and on Washington Street from 62nd Avenue to Park Road. This project is also known as the Hollywood Mobility Package No. 1.
A discontinuity in the documented ownership of the right-of-way exists along Washington Street. To achieve continuity, the City of Hollywood can certify that a portion of Washington Street, as described on the attached Washington Street Maintenance Map, showing an area of approximately 1721 square feet whose legal description can be defined as follows:
A portion of AN AMENDED PLAT OF S/W 1/4 OF SECTION 13, T-51-S, R-41-E, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 16, Page 19 of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida lying in Section 13, Township 51 South, Range 41 East; more specifically described as follows:
Commence at the Southeast corner of Parcel "C", FIRST UNION WEST according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 144, Page 25 of the Public Records Of Broward County, Florida; thence along the Southerly extension of the Easterly line of said Parcel "C", South 02? 30' 23" East, a distance of 4.92 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 84? 31' 46" ...
