Explanation:
Jeri Muoio has over 35 years of Leadership experience and training, worked and taught at various municipalities. She teaches and explains the in-depth study of Leadershift: The Eleven Essential Changes Every Leader Must Embrace.

Great Cities for All, actively promotes employee empowerment, collaboration and teamwork. Breaking down of existing silos, team building, and an expanded understanding of leadership in today's world of work.

A total of twelve Department of Public Works staff ranging from the Director to Administrative staff, participated in the six week program. Participants learned how to better understand their own and team member's behavioral style, the difference between a Trained Leader and Leaders who are Transformational. The group was encouraged to assess their personal development shift, participated in the Leadership Game, weekly reading assignments, knowing and understanding the eleven essential changes every leader must embrace.

All twelve participants completed the series, and will be moving forward to the Five Levels of Leadership on their continuous journey of becoming Great Leaders.

Participants stated that they very much enjoyed learning through this program and have created a three minute video to show their appreciation and plan to continue learning while using measures they learned.

Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this presentation will not fiscally impact the City as this is a presentation regarding employee development and empowerment.
