On June 10, 2020, the Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) reviewed 18 eligible applications for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 General Fund Agency Grant funding.   On June 24, 2020, the CDAB made final recommendations to continue the General Fund Agency Grant Program in FY 2021 and to award funding to the non-profit organizations listed in Exhibit 1.  In prior years, a joint workshop with the CDAB and City Commission was held to review the funding recommendations for the General Fund Agency Grant Program and the Community Development Block Grant Program.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the joint meeting could not be held.

Pursuant to approval and adoption of resolution R-2020-232 by the City Commission on September 24, 2020, funding will be allocated in the City’s Fiscal Year 2021 Operating Budget to continue the grant program in the amount of $180,000.00.

The attached resolution seeks authorization for the appropriate City Officials to enter into and execute all grant agreements between the City and the non-profit organizations.
