Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.


Explanation:
Due to scheduling difficulties, various Commission meetings will be changed to allow greater flexibility to the Commission, staff and residents.

The first regular Commission Meeting on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 shall have citizens' comments at 5:00 PM.

The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 shall be rescheduled to Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM with citizens' comments at 5:00 PM. By moving the meetings during the summer it will allow the Commission, staff and residents more time for preparing the next fiscal year's budget.

The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 shall be rescheduled to Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM with citizens' comments at 5:00 PM, due to Yom Kippur.

The first regular Commission Meeting on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 shall have citizens' comments at 5:00 PM.

The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 shall be cancelled.

The first regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 shall be cancelled.

By canceling the December and January meetings will allow the Commission, staff and residents more flexibility in preparing items during the holiday season.

Thereafter, regular meetings of the City Commission shall, unless otherwise provided by Resolution, be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.


Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
