Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, Municipal Code of Ordinance, Chapter 50, Section 50.04(A(5)(b) established a $200.00 administrative charge against the owner or other person in charge of the property for the removal of illegally placed commingled material. On September 2, 2020, the City Commission passed and adopted Ordinance No. PO-2020-11, removing the administrative charge from the Ordinance to be placed in this Resolution. Chapter 50, Section 50.03(D)(1) also reiterates that any person or entity who is subject to the City supplying the necessary services through a private contractor for inadequate garbage service shall be subject to the cost and expense of providing the collection.

Administrative costs are accumulated by the Environmental Services Division to supply these services and constitute the expense, as referred to in the Ordinance. Cost for the removal of garbage are in the same amount as for the removal of illegally placed yard waste and bulk waste material.

An administrative charge in the amount of $200.00 against the owner or other person in charge of the property for the removal of garbage shall constitute the expense of the collection as stated in Section 50.03(D)(1)
