Explanation:

On July 1, 2020, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2020-167 that adopted the One Year Action Plan and projected use of funds for Federal Program Year 2020-2021.

 

Due to the reaffirmation of Resolution No. R-2020-111, it was necessary to re-notice a public hearing relating to the adoption of the One Year Action Plan and the projected use of funds for Federal Program Year 2020-2021 to meet the applicable notice and public comment requirements

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for the One Year Action Plan 2020-2021 has been provided by HUD through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Programs (HOME). HUD has allocated $1,256,701.00 of CDBG funds. The total amount to be budgeted for CDBG activities in fiscal year 2021 is $1,306,701.00, which includes estimated program income of $50,000.00. HUD has also allocated $543,715.00 of HOME funds, which will be allocated in the Fiscal Year 2021 operating budget
