Explanation:
On May 20, 2020, the City Commission passed and adopted R-2020-112, amending the One Year Action Plan for Federal Program Fiscal Year 2019-2020 to allocate $739,276.00 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) COVID-19 funds. However, due to an error regarding the public hearing advertisement, a new public hearing is required for the allocation of the CDBG funds for Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2020; this resolution reaffirms the budget for the One Year Action Plan in order to comply with the public hearing stipulations.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding received by the City related to the CARES Act will be made available in the Fiscal Year 2020 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1, subject to approval of this resolution. Existing staff will establish and monitor the programs and funds.
