Explanation:
Under the provisions of City of Hollywood Charter §2.04(d), the City Commission may determine its own rules of procedure. On June 4, 2014, the City Commission passed Resolution No. R-2014-129, and on July 3, 2018, the City Commission passed Resolution No. R-2018-196, which is the latest version of its Rules of Procedure.
The City Commission desires to include a limitation on the length of Proclamations, Awards and Presentations made during City Commission meetings.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
