Explanation:

The call for women’s rights was proclaimed at the Seneca Falls convention in 1848.  Amendment 19, the women’s right to vote became part of the U.S. Constitution on August 18, 1920.

The proclamation will be presented at the July 1, 2020 City Commission meeting
