Explanation:

The City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2020-112, approving an amendment to the One Year Action Plans for Fiscal Years 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 allocating supplemental Community Development Block Grant funding (CDBG-CV) made available under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act for Food Pantries.

 

Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc. (CEC) provides food for Hollywood residents at the Client Choice Food Pantry.

 

The Department of Development Services/Community Development Division desires to utilize current CDBG-CV funds to support the Client Choice Food Pantry by providing funding to CEC to provide food to Hollywood seniors that have been impacted by the COVID-19 Health Emergency.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

The Department of Development Services/Community Development Division will manage an agreement with CEC funded by CDBG-CV funds.  Funding for this agreement is available in the FY 2020 Operating Budget account number 111.160101.55400.583211.001217.000.000.
