Explanation:

The City of Hollywood was impacted by Hurricane Dorian in August and September 2019 and incurred storm related costs for emergency protective measures. On August 30, 2019 there was a Federal Major Disaster Declaration which made the City of Hollywood eligible for Federal and State public assistance funding to reimburse a share of these storm related costs. The attached federally funded subaward and Grant Agreement between the City of Hollywood and the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management will enable the City to apply for and receive public assistance funding.

Fiscal Impact:

The City is estimated to receive approximately $224,875 (87.5%) in reimbursement.
