Explanation:
The current AAAC now consists of thirteen members and three alternates.
Members of the AAAC must reside or work in the City of Hollywood, be of African American descent, and/or have extensive knowledge and interest in the African American community.
Currently there are six member vacancies on the AAAC and two vacant alternate positions.
The City Clerk provided notice to the public that positions are available and solicited interest forms from citizens to fill available vacancies on the African American Advisory Council.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
