Explanation:
The Department of Public Utilities uses GE Osmonics Zyplex, RO Save, 5 Micron, 40 DOE Cartridge Filters for treatment of raw water in the water treatment plant.
On December 23, 2019, Bid Number F-4629-20-RL - Supply and Delivery of GE Osmonics Zyplex, RO Save, 5 Micron, 40 DOE Cartridge Filters was electronically advertised on BidSync in accordance with Section 38.42(A) of the City's Purchasing Ordinance.
Seven registered BidSync vendors downloaded the solicitation for further consideration.
As of the solicitation due date, 29 potential vendors viewed the solicitation on BidSync.
On January 28, 2020, Bid Number F-4629-20-RL was opened and resulted in the following responses:
Tri-Dim Filter Corporation $56,358.00
Waco Filters Corporation $58,660.80
Tri-Dim Filter Corporation has been determined to be the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
Tri-Dim Filter Corporation is currently providing these items to the City in a responsive and satisfactory manner.
The term of this blanket purchase order shall be for an initial three year period and may be renewed for two additional one year renewal periods.
The Directors of Public Utilities and Procurement & Contract Compliance recommend that the City Commission approve the issuance of the attached blanket purchase order for the supply and delivery of GE Osmonics Zyplex, RO Save, 5 Micron, 40 DOE Cartridge Filters to Tri-Dim Filter Corporation, in an estimated annual amount of $56,358.00.
