Staff Recommends:  Approval of the Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The Department of Parks Recreation and Cultural Arts requires replacement of the natural grass fields located at Washington Park by Mullings Engineering Services, Inc. (“Mullings”).  This purchase order compliments resolution TMP-2020-144. The renovation of the Washington Park fields is identified as a GOB project and funded under the initial offering.

 

The award is subject to the City’s receipt and approval of all insurance certificates and endorsements required by the City’s Risk Manager, and indemnity to the City.

 

The Director of Parks Recreation and Cultural Arts and the Director of Procurement & Contract Compliance recommend that the City Commission issue a Purchase Order to Mullings for an estimated expenditure of $103,680.00

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this project is included in the General Obligation Bond Projects Fund, and is available in account number 333.309901.57200.563010.001202.000.000.
